Joshua E. Williams joined Groth and Associates in 2016 as an intern. He continued to work at Groth and Associates as a criminal defense paralegal and trial specialist while he pursued his undergraduate degree.
Joshua grew up in Toledo, attending Roy C. Start High School and the University of Toledo. While attending UT, Joshua earned his A.A.S. and B.S. in paralegal studies where he specialized in litigation and trial practice. Joshua was then a law clerk for Groth and Associates as he attended the University of Toledo College of Law, where he earned a full academic scholarship.
While attending UT Law, Joshua represented his law school for two consecutive years in the Ohio Attorney General’s mock trial competition, where he took home top honors of best witness and best attorney in 2019.
After graduating from UT Law with a Juris Doctorate, Joshua initially received his (P.P.A.) certificate which allowed him to practice law in the state of Ohio. Followed by a passing score on the Ohio bar exam, Joshua has now transitioned into his new role as an attorney at Groth and Associates where he specializes in all criminal, traffic, and personal injury matters–or any area where people need help.
